The Athletic Club & Town Center is a beautiful facility located just a short walk
down the road from the Golf Clubhouse. The Palladium building is designed to
complement the antebellum style of South Carolina architect Robert Mills who
inspired the Edgefield County Courthouse and whose most famous design is that of
the Washington monument in our Nation's capital. The building fits into the
natural topography of Mount Vintage in a loving way, providing a panoramic vista
of the Independent Nine golf course and wonderful overlooks of both the tennis
courts and the swimming pool.
